15 days left of being 7!!!
One thing that I never, ever want to forget about Walker is how his money burns a hole in his pocket. Always. Always, always, always, always. It doesnt' just burn a hole in his pocket, it lights a fire in his whole pants and burns through his pocket and all the way down to the soles of his feet. He can't help it. He wants to spend it on the very first thing he has opportunity to! Always!
For example, today we had to run a few errands to get ready for Lakewood on Sunday, Walker had $4, and just this morning, he wanted to spend it on:
- vitamins from Walgreens for $18.99
- sunscreen from Walgreens that was buy 1 get 1 half off
- an antique vase from Treasures Lost and Found for $30
- a mother/baby beanie baby duo from Treasures Lost and Found for $20
- a button you push and it played weird sayings from Treasure Lost and Found (have no idea how much it cost)
- chapstick from the Ortho dentist appointment
- a bird toy from Pet Supermarket for Bear for $9.99
- a dog toy from Pet Supermarket for Charley for $8.99
- gumballs for the brotherhood from Pet Supermarket
- a guinea pig from Pet Supermarket for $180
- a dog bed for Walker himself to sleep in for $170
- a purse for me from Goodwill for $7
- a swim suit from Goodwill that was 2 sizes to large for himself for $2.50
- a snow cone machine from Amazon for $50
- a cake pop from Foxtail for $3.75 .... I said no to all the above, but I finally said yes to this one. This boy truly really does love cake pops!
And this is a daily thing. As soon as Walker boy gets $1 in his pocket, he wants to buy the world! It's so cute and a little scary. 🤣 He earned $20 from feeding Theresa Price's fish, and we're making him save it for Lakewood, which is so painful for Walker. But he will be SO glad once we get to Lakewood and he and the brotherhood go cruising on their bikes down to the general store! We can't wait!
