Thankfulness Journal 2022!!!

❤ I can't find the thankfulness journal that's prior to this one, so the first few months of 2022 are still missing, but here is what I have! (also, if I have to guess what the first few months of thankfulness in '22 include, I would have a strong suspicion that they are heavy in gratitude to the Lord for Andrew, the boys, camping, everyone's health, our beautiful home, and lots of good nights of sleep 😉 )

4/22/22 so thankful for:

- Andrew

- beautiful weather

- last coop today

- The Lord showing me my sin

- Katherine at Undeniable Urgent Care helping me with my thrush. Praise God!

Thankful for: 4/25/22

- Andrew's patience with me

- my hammock that I choose for Mother's Day

- opportunity to serve the Paffords and Hoffmans with meatball polenta

4/26/22 Thankful for:

- chance to help the Hoffman's take their boxes out of the attic

- chance to visit with the Tysons

- chance to take Hoffman's dinner

- chance to trim bushes, wash car, wash blankets, etc

Father, 

Please help me. I'm tired, overwhelmed, discouraged, and I don't feel well. God, I want to be happy, joyful, and carefree for Andrew and the boys, but I feel so far from that.

Father, Thank you for the Konos scholarship for Brody!!!!!

4/27/22 Thankful for:

- got chance to take Hoffman's dinner last night

- hammock day-camping with Brody and walker

- The Lord gave us such beautiful weather!

- a gorgeous sunset that we could watch from our hammocks

- Lord, please give us somewhere to stay July 1-4 in Ohio

5/11/22 Thankful for:

- Jasper's birthday tomorrow!

- Beautiful weather!

- pedicure with the girls last night and Qdoba take out with Andrew last night ❤

5/12/22 So thankful for:

- It's Jasper's 11th birthday!! 

- beautiful weather!!

- sweet Andrew!

- fellowship with him

- thrush is getting better

5/13/22 So thankful for:

- Jasper!!! He had the BEST birthday ever (last day of Konos, pool party, Jack came over, Jasper got 14 knives, steak at Texas Roadhouse, we came home and J examined his knives for an hour or so.) Jasper was so, so, so thankful and appreciative and our hearts are so full!!

5/16/22 Thankful for:

- friends! So many beautiful friends at FBC

- summer schedule is much calmer. I'm so thankful!

- the boys are really sweet!

- God, I'm really discouraged about the thrush.

5/17/22 Thankful for:

- Mom got me in with Dr. Jenn, her functional medicine doctor!

- Krisit Chenette came over to pray with me yesterday

- we got to take Colt's family a meal

- our friendship with the Wolfs and Bromers ❤

5/18/22 So thankful for:

- scheduled a consult with Dr. Jenn for next Tuesday

- Jasper had fun shopping for his birthday at Academy Sports

- nanny job

5/19/22 Thankful for:

- last meeting at WOF yesterday

- Katheryn Hynson giving us eggs and buying the boys cfa

5/20/22 Thankful for:

- God bringing jobs for the boys' car detailing business

- the pool!

- air conditioning

- our church!

- Andrew's bonus and his raise! Praise God!

5/23/22 Thankful for:

 - camping today!

- the boys got so many car jobs this weekend!

- Jeremy is here ❤

- opportunity to make food for Gma Sally

- thankful for growth and spiritual progree

6/13/22 - this is a hard, hard morning

- infection is so bad

- thrush is worse

- health problems

- I feel like a rage monster 😔😓

- God, please help me. I'm sad because I wasn't at Cade's wedding and I'm struggling that Talon and Tristan are coming today and that we have VBS all night tonight

6/14/22 Thankful for:

- God helped me get through a big day yesterday

- Dr. Jenn's going to look at my protocol

- the love and prayers of friends

6/24/22 Thankful for:

- so thankful Brody doesn't have the chicken pox, just a heat rash

- so thankful Walker doesn't have bronchitis, just a post-nasal drip

- so thankful my thrush is getting better

- so excited for the cousins to be here tonight/this weekend ad for Madeline's shower tonight

7/3/22 Thankful for:

- safe travels on all the roads from Georgia to Ohio!

- the sweetest time helping Cade and Aziza get ready for their wedding reception ❤ 

- such great time at Cade's Pickerington Farm and such a great party at Danny and Jurga's house and so glad we could stop to see Gma Sally and fun at the Hootenanny and such a sweet time here at Mom and Dad's! ❤ Praise God!!

- a sweet husband who listened to me when I cry- I'm not ok

- the boys are at MB's house

- a quiet morning

- going camping by myself tonight at Van Pugh campground

7/22/22 Thankful for:

- an awesome getaway in Zoe at Lake Lanier! There was a monsoon, but it was so fun!!

- got to swim with the Wolfs yesterday and have dinner at Panera with Elizabeth Pafford ❤

- so excited for our getaway with this weekend! Father, please pour out Your blessings on our getaway!

7/23/22 So Thankful for:

- get away with Andrew! It's so prefect in every way!!

- Katie Saba is great with the boys

- beautiful hotel!

- Walker's birthday yesterday was really sweet

- time with Bromers

- Walker loved his presents 😀

- God kept us safe in our travels ❤

- we could gift the changing table to Levi and Emelyn

8/5/22 Thankful for:

- Got lots of good and cheap food from Krogers and Aldi's yesterday

- Andrew bought a bowling alley lane for a new dining room table

- 2 of my new school chairs arrived

- I got to take dinner to the gas station attendant, Maddie, last night

- at Myrtle Beach Lakewood and it's amazing

- our camping resort is so sweet and beautiful and clean!

- Walker's 5th birthday party was SO fun!! Pizza and balloons!!

- the law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul. Psalm 19! So thankful for my chance to read my Bible this morning!

- got to have the Kangs and Wolfs over for tacos last night! It was such a gift!

- got the ceiling finished!

- tile guy is coming tomorrow and Andrew, Brian, and Jennifer ripped out the toilet and sink

- so thankful we canceled our camping trip- it was rainy and freezing the whole weekend!

- got to have Ms Carol over on Saturday and k groups here last night

- the house's Zillow pictures are done!

11/15/22 Thankful for:

- my elbow appointment was great! Everything is healed

- I got Charely in to see the vet- she has fleas. At first, I was freaking out but now it's such a blessing! She's on her flea medicine and had 2 flea baths and is SO much better! 

- got to play Uno as a family last night!

- children in my home on a cold and dreary day

- a chance to sneak away to the Senoia coffee shop

- Katie coming to talk last night

- family game night

11/18/22 Thankful for:

- a house came on the market yesterday morning!! 

- Walker and I saw it with Tyler yesterday at 2!

- we made an offer on it last night at 8!! Contingent on the sale of this Renwick house! Oh Lord, please make it clear! Please give us Your wisdom! Please, please do Your will!!

11/21/22 Thankful for:

- We're under contract with the Vaughn Road house!! So So so so excited!!!

- so thankful for such great friends!!

- such a great k group fellowship last night!

- so thankful for a great night's sleep@

11/22/22 Thankful for:

- a warm, beautiful house

- a good night's sleep

- 3 healthy and happy little boys ❤

- God, please bring buyers and showings for our Renwick house

11/23/22 Thankful for:

- God didn't bring showings. So thankful, bc Brody got SO sick and needed rest and threw up all over the couch

- steak date last night ❤

- great friends who encourage me in the Truth!

11/24/22 So thankful for:

- God kept me safe when all the lumber flew off the trailer and hit the van

- all the boys are sick with fevers and sore throats

- praise God that we didn't have any showings this week!

- Bash came over- so thankful to make extra money 

- in date last night!

- thank you, God, that Christ and the Holy Spirit are interceding for me!

11/25/22 Thankful for:

- yesterday was thanksgiving and all 3 boys were sick. I felt so bad for them!

- I'm so thankful Andrew could go to his parent's house for Thanksgiving

- I'm thankful I could make bone broth for the boys and the Wolfs

11/26/22 Thankful for:

- I'm so thankful everyone is healthy!

- so thankful we could celebrate Thanksgiving yesterday as a family of 5! Thankful friends made food!

- so thankful I could take dinner to Ms Carol ❤

- so thankful we could put up Christmas decorations!

11/28/22 Thankful for:

- we got to go to church yesterday

- I got makeup from Ulta and Christmas decorations

- we're going to start doing puzzles! 😀

- Lord, please bring everything to light with the inspection today! Please bring a buyer for our home! This week, please! I'm fasting today.

11/29/22 Thankful for:

- great report from the inspection!

- I got to fast and pray for 36 hours about the house stuff and our hearts!

- boys got to play at mom and dad's and the Wolfs

- Lord, please help me to be happy and firm, trusting in You. Please bring a buyer this week!

12/5/22 Praise God!!

- it's my beloved's birthday!!! ❤❤❤❤

- I was so sick this past week, but I'm feeling so much better today!

- we had 3 showings this weekend

- I'm so excited to celebrate Andrew today!

- we reached an agreement with the seller on the request to remedy

12/7/22 Thankful for:

- my nanny job helps me make a little bit of money to help contribute to the fam

- thankful we had lo's last night for dinner

- I'm SO thankful for the Wolf's

- I am so thankful we homeschool!! ❤

12/9/22 Thankful for:

- Konos!

- we have a showing today! Lord, please bring more!

- Done with Christmas shopping

12/13/22 So thankful:

- for our beautiful, cozy home

- so thankful for make a lot of freezer meals (ziti x 5, pork carnitas x 3, tacos x 2)

- Christmas wrapping is all done ❤

- Line Creek was so sweet yesterday!

12/14/22 Thankful for:

- Henderson is here for a couple of days

- Hoffman's could come for baked ziti last night ❤

- so thankful I can homeschool the boys

- Andrew got talks of a February promotion **

- beautiful home and cozy fireplace

- happy boys!

- everyone's healthy

12/16/22 Thankful for:

- Konos is done for 2 weeks!

- Kimmy's cooking class (bread Class) is so sweet!

- I got really cheap ribeye from Publix! 12 ribeye for $6.50/each!

- the appraisal on the Vaughn Road house was really great!

- Samantha's Christmas party was so fun!

- I got a $10 Amazon gift card

- we were able to serve Nate and MB this week!

12/21/22 SO so so thankful!!

- my birthday getaway was SO magical and perfect in every way!

- Andrew is such a gem!!

- Mary Soisson and Mom Meade were so sweet to the boys!

- Everyone's healthy!

- Got to spend time with the Hollands and Jack Britton!

- I got to have my faith sisters breakfast yesterday! It was so precious and Mary Soisson paid for everyone

- we got my hammock stand for free!

12/29/22 So thankful!!

- Christmas was SO precious!!

- Ms Carol was so kind and spent time with us!

- We've had 3 showings in the past 24 hours

- Got to have the Wolf kids spend the day with us

- had dinner with the Hoffmans

- spent the afternoon with the McGuires

- Got so many books and hammock gear!

- sellers are giving $1,000 to drop the contingency

- the sun is shining

- I love my new leather bag

- made lots of lasagna

- I have the best friends!

- our life in GA is so precious and so full and beautiful!
